Description
Azzura Karting track Lake Maggiore - Karting Lake Maggiore. We look forward to your visit to try the circuit with our rental karts.
The Azzurra Track was founded in Borgo Ticino in 1962, when Karting in Italy was first appearing, and it was used by great drivers straight away.
Among the many aces of the steering wheel that leapt onto the asphalt of the Azzurra Track, we remember: the Italian champion of the class 200 twin engine in 1963, Angelo Broggini, Susanna Raganelli, Italian champion class 100 super in 1965; Piero Necchi, Italian champion class 100 - 1st category in 1970, and the late Formula One racer, Ronnie Peterson.
The track has hosted various kart races over time, up to an Italian 135cc class championship, and has often been used by many engines and frames manufacturers for the development and testing of their vehicles.
In the summer of 2004, the track was completely redesigned to adapt to the new security regulations imposed by international organisations.
